A Source of Help
for the
People of Malawi
The Nchima Trust is a small charity, originally founded in 1962 by the Gardiner family.
Its early operations were in the Thyolo and Blantyre districts in the Southern Region of Malawi.
Later the Trust extended it's activities to meet the needs of individuals and communities throughout the country.
The Nchima Trust only provides funds for projects within Malawi. Donations are presently concentrated on Health, Education, Rural Credit, Orphan Support and a thriving Community Centre at Thyolo.
Where the need arises and when funds permit the Trustees may choose to support any project which, to them, seems appropriate.
