Malawians are able to submit their applications for funding here. In order to eligible for a grant you need to be a citizen of Malawi and complete all sections of the application form which will appear once you login.You must register and login to the site. 

Currently, Nchima Trust is focussing funding support on vocational training. This means that University and polytechnic support has lower priority at the moment. Please bear this in mind when applying. This may or may not change in the future.

Applicants should please note the following requirements:

It takes a minimum of 3 months from application to getting the funding and at the time of requesting funding it will help if you provide Nchima Trust with the following information (We are happy to accept scanned documents sent by email) :- 

1. A letter from the college confirming you have a place and an official letter giving a full break down of fees and living expenses. 
2. A statement saying whether whether you have given up employment to attend college and if so what employment
3. Please tell us if this is your first tertiary qualification and if not, what other qualifications do you have.
4. Is anyone helping you with fees and  if so, who and how much.
5. If the course has already started where did you get the fees to make the initial payment.
6. Are you a mature student on a parallel course or are you Malawi Government sponsored.
