The Nchima Trust funds various products as part of its mission to support Malawians. Currently, a range of fuel saving stoves and the ambucycle are amongst these products. Prices are available on the Gifts page.
Fule Saving (Rocket) Stoves - these stoves are made in Malawi and use considerably less firewood or charcoal than a traditional open fire.
Ambucycles - This is a two wheeled stretcher pulled by a bicycle to enable speedy transfer from rural settings to the nearest available clinic or hospital. This is an uncomplicated solution to a serios problem and so popular that virtually the entire Mulanje district is now adequately covered by 90 ambucycles.
